Why equipment pads need real compaction discipline

Unlike a general landscaping grade, equipment pads support concentrated, sustained loads — a generator or transformer settling unevenly over time can misalign connections or create a real maintenance and safety issue. We compact to a standard appropriate for the specific equipment's weight, not a general-purpose grade.
